What is Medicare Advantage?

Medicare Advantage, also called Part C, is an alternative to Original Medicare offered by private insurance companies approved by Medicare. These plans combine your Part A (hospital) and Part B (medical) coverage into a single plan, and many include prescription drug coverage (Part D) as well.

Because plans differ in their networks, costs, and benefits, the right plan is the one that fits your doctors, your medications, and your budget. That’s where we come in.

All-in-one

Part C bundles hospital and medical coverage into one plan, often with drug coverage and extra benefits that vary by plan and year.

Questions

Does Medicare Advantage include prescription drug coverage?

Many plans do, but not all. We’ll help you confirm whether a specific plan covers your medications.

Can I switch plans later?

Medicare has specific enrollment periods during which changes can be made. We can explain the timing that applies to your situation.

Will my doctor be covered?

Plans have networks, so it depends on the plan. We help you check whether your providers are included before you decide.

How much does a Medicare Advantage plan cost?

Costs vary by plan and location, and include more than the premium. We’ll help you understand the full picture for the plans available to you.
